I honestly didn’t expect much when I joined MeetMTF.

One night I was just scrolling through profiles and came across Camila. She had this photo taken at South Beach around sunset, and she looked really confident and relaxed.

“Was that sunset photo really taken in Miami or are you just making the rest of us jealous?”
She laughed and replied.
That’s how it started.
What I thought would be a short conversation turned into hours of chatting. We talked about random things — Cuban coffee, late-night tacos, crazy Miami traffic, and the weirdest dates we’d both had before.
It just felt easy.
After talking for about two weeks, we decided to meet in person. We picked a small café near Brickell.
I was a little nervous walking in, but when I saw her smile and wave at me, the nerves were gone immediately.
She was exactly the same as she was online — funny, confident, and easy to talk to.
That first date lasted almost four hours.
We ended up walking around the city afterward, just talking about life and laughing about how we almost didn’t message each other.
Now we still see each other all the time. We try new restaurants, go to the beach, and sometimes we joke that the whole thing started because of one sunset photo.
Joining MeetMTF that night was honestly one of the best random decisions I’ve made.
